This is my cartoon version of myself. The task for this was to use Adobe Illustrator to make a cartoon version of ourself. I chose this picture because it shows my entire face and I'm looking straight into the camera. To make this, I put the original picture on the first layer, and turned down the opacity. I made a new layer for each of my features, aka my head, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. To make these, I used the pen tool, and the curvature tool. I traced around all of my feature to trace around my features on their corresponding layer. For the nose specifically, I drew it with the pencil tool. There were many, many layers used for this. I zoomed in very close to my nose so I can add every detail possible, to make it look as realistic yet cartoon as possible. For some of the colours, I used a gradient to make the colour change from a lighter to darker version of it. This is used on my hair, eyebrows, head, neck, lips, ears, and shirt. At the end, I put a radial gradient as the very first layer, so it's behind my cartoon. I then deleted the original photo, and I was left with the cartoon version of myself.
